To be honest, I was so intent on thinking about the 21 years the Celtics played at the Civic Center and their exhibition returns since 2009 that I hadn't noticed the banners missing when I initially spoke with Lawrence at 6 p.m. We talked about the impressive new scoreboard, the new loge seats, concourse improvements. Three hours later here we were talking Whaler green and not Jeff Green.
